Centralise key club and membership information in one place, allowing us to track the health of the game in real-time and respond proactively. This will ensure that clubs are economically sustainable and progressive.

We have built a robust and structured Women’s and Girls’ game, ensuring it is safe, inclusive, and ambitious. Now, we must continue to embed consistency, elevate standards, and strengthen the infrastructure to secure long-term success.

We will inspire the next generation by showcasing female players, coaches, officials, and leaders demonstrating that Criced is a sport for all.

We will grow the number of women and girls taking on leadership roles within clubs and leagues, as well as female officials and grounds managers, ensuring that women are shaping the future of our game.

We will establish clear standards for all cricket settings across Wales (Clubs, Parks, Indoor Venues) to create inclusive, high-quality environments for everyone.

Support clubs on the journey to reduce carbon footprint, save money and energy so this can be reinvested back into the game.

Lead the way in making Criced a sport for everyone, ensuring that under-served communities across Wales have opportunities to engage - ideally within 60 minutes of their home.

Care for our communities by growing the Criced brand in Wales so that every school, child, and parent knows about Cricket Wales, Glamorgan, and Welsh Fire.

Deliver safeguarding training for all club safeguarding officers, coaches, and volunteers. Provide clear and accessible safeguarding resources for parents and young players. Ensure Cricket Wales leadership champions safeguarding education and visibility

Develop a clear, confidential, and easily accessible reporting system supported by robust safeguarding management system . Support clubs in handling safeguarding concerns effectively and with sensitivity. Ensure every club has a trained safeguarding officer.

Work with clubs to promote a culture of respect, inclusion, and accountability. Address barriers that prevent individuals from reporting concerns (e.g., cultural stigma, lack of trust). Embed safeguarding into all Cricket Wales activities, including recreational, youth, and pathways

Strengthen relationships with leagues, clubs, Sport Wales, local authorities, and safeguarding bodies. Learn from best practices in other sports and apply them to cricket.

Establish clear safeguarding KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Conduct regular audits and self-assessments for clubs and leagues. Use data and feedback to refine safeguarding policies over time.

Empower leaders through dedicated inclusion training. Embed inclusive values via a Cricket Wales culture review and rollout across the wider network. Improve accessibility by linking facility funding to tackling inequalities in targeted communities. Ensure fair recruitment by embedding inclusive hiring practice.

Enhance bursary support by better understanding individual needs. Improve talent ID through open video nominations and clearer pathways. Expand regional access by addressing logistical challenges in North Wales.

Increase visibility of cricket through targeted schools and community programs. Expand disability participation, progressing towards Gold Standard accreditation. Strengthen street cricket, ensuring year-round access and consistent delivery. Deliver culturally relevant offers such as Ramadan Cricket and Afro-Caribbean initiatives.

Deliver club education programs to improve awareness and action on inclusion. Enhance governance standards by incorporating diverse voices into leadership. Increase visibility of EDI efforts through human-centred storytelling and impactful content.
